“When my husband got the opportunity to come to New Mexico Highlands University with a graduate assistantship, I came a long for the ride. Being here in this great new state has been an amazing trip. I am now on the road to a Bachelor’s in Fine Art with a degree in Media Arts emphasizing in Digital Filmmaking and another Bachelor’s in Liberal Arts. When I am finished here at Highlands University I fancy the idea of carrying on my filmmaking into the field of Digital Animation or Video Game Design. My name is Veronica Black and I am a traveler on a colossal adventure.”— Veronica Black, student
