“I worked on a 17th century 3-D Palace of the Governors. I photographed several adobe buildings and built a small texture library. I planned a floor plan based on given research and information. From there I built the building from the ground up including features such as beams of doors and windows, latillas and vigas. If I had more time, I could have added more details to the building, such as nicer fireplaces or rug to the floors. I think I improved on my technical 3-D skills and advanced my knowledge in Sketch-Up, the program I used to build the Palace. I also learned that not all research is done in a library.
